Topic : Objectives of MBA

Guest Speaker: Dr.K.Sathyanarayanan

Guest Profile : Dr.K.Sathyanarayanan is presently working as Assistant Professor, Department of Management Studies, at University of Madras. His area of specialization is systems. He has got an experience of 11 years in teaching profession. He has formerly worked in TVS and Dishnet DSL. He has a number of publications in both National and International Journals. He has also Conducted workshops for Government College Teachers and has acted as subject expert in TRB, Government of Tamil Nadu.

Topic : Industry Expectations from an MBA

Guest Speaker: Mr. Charlie Roy

Guest Profile : Charlie Roy is a HR professional with over Fifteen years of experience in varied roles across diverse organizations and he is currently the Deputy General Manager - Human Resource for Celebrity Fashions Ltd and Heads the Human Resource Division for Indian Terrain ( A group company ) . Charlie has worked across all HR areas and is now responsible for the overall HR strategy for Group and a member of the senior management team for Celebrity Group of Companies reporting to the Managing Directors for the respective Business unit. Charlie has an educational background covering Business Management and Industrial Relations. He holds a Master Degree in Business Management and Master in Social Work and also holds a diploma in Counseling. He is also certified Lead Auditor for SA 8000 and is a member of various industry HR forums.

Guest Speaker: Ms. Padma Rajagopal

Guest Profile : Ms. Padma Rajagopal is an Enterprising Entrepreneur, who is the Managing Director and also a founder of SR Internationals. She is also, Trustee of SR Charities. She has completed her MBA, MFM, M.Phil and currently pursuing PhD. She is a keen social worker and besides has lot of interest in sports and other extra curricular activities. She has worked in BPOs and consultancies in various capacities and was primarily involved in operational analysis of US real estate market financials; the budgeting of the entire Asia Pacific region of the organization; comprehensive state wide surveys and marketing analysis reporting. She has also conducted and attended many product training, employee training and development programs and many soft skills enhancement programs.
